Bravo that a meeting like this was organized by young people.

Young people should go another steps further since our elders failed to do during the last 34 years is to come up a working platform for all vietnamese overseas, especially in USA where the most VN people dwell. Why dont't BYN to kick off the idea of forming a Congress Of Vietnameses in Action (COVA). In essence this Congress is following the format of the Jewish Congress in USA that working quite well in influencing both USA as well in Israel. Vietnamese overseas have too many efforts by small groups and parties that tend to waste too much energy and resources and in the end we did not have enough influence here in USA or to the Vietnam country in making the change we wish to have. Only when we pool resources together and have delegates, adequate resources to sustain long-term and regular meeting sessions and with a clear objectives and long term action plan then we can direct greater changes for people here in USA as well for the goods for people in VN. As young people, young people should set examples and intiatives in this direction to foster a new polical climate that promotes greater cooperations and forms new delegations or representatives who could be starting with reps from students and organization willing to march in this new changing direction. The young should be a catalyst for change provding young people maintain an open mind and let everyone participate and not just restrict to a few organization or individual. When the young people are willing to listen, share power and pool resources, then we can go a long road and make change that will last for all concerns because the Congress COVA will last no matter when or where or what for us to face and do.
